Pimmix in 2026: Smarter workflows, less manual work, more automation

As we enter the 2026, the direction for Pimmix is becoming clearer than ever. Our focus remains on reducing manual workload, improving day to day efficiency, and helping teams work faster with large product assortments and multiple language versions. During the past year we have released several meaningful updates that make it easier to manage high volumes of data, and this journey continues strongly forward.

A New Phase for Pimmix - From individual records toward intelligent, scalable product information workflows

Pimmix is evolving from a traditional product information system into an intelligent environment where product data is structured, enriched, translated, and delivered with minimal friction. Instead of working product by product, users will increasingly operate at a higher overview level, handling large sets of items at once while the system supports, guides, and increasingly automates the work in the background.

Our core focus areas and plans for 2026

As Pimmix continues to develop, our focus is on making everyday work smoother, faster, and more scalable. The core idea is simple: instead of managing product data one record at a time, the system will increasingly support intelligent, overview-level workflows where automation and AI quietly assist in the background. Below is a look at the main development directions we focus on during 2026.

1. Overview driven workflows become the new normal

We are moving toward a model where everyday tasks are handled in flexible overview views rather than item by item screens. The updated product overview already supports easier browsing and filtering, and this will expand into:

  • Selecting groups of products at once

  • Applying bulk edits and AI enhancements

  • Handling translations centrally

This approach is designed especially for users managing thousands of SKUs and multiple language versions. The goal is simple: more impact with fewer clicks.

2. AI moves into the background as a core system capability

AI in Pimmix will evolve from individual tools into a natural part of the workflow.

Instead of always starting AI tasks manually, users will be able to let AI run automatically in the background when certain conditions are met, such as:

  • Creating a new product

  • Assigning an item into a group

  • Completing key data fields

When triggered, AI can enrich missing data, structure specifications, propose translations, and prepare product information for delivery. This keeps the human in control while removing repetitive work.

AI becomes less of a feature and more of a foundation. Quiet intelligence that supports work rather than interrupts it.

3. Multi-language management becomes faster and more scalable

With more companies operating across several markets, language handling has been a major development focus. During 2026, expect:

  • Easier creation and editing of multilingual content

  • Smarter detection of missing translations

  • Bulk translation management at overview level

  • AI based support for tone, clarity, and consistency

This keeps product content aligned across all channels and markets.

4. A new import module designed for simplicity and automation

A completely new import module is under development and moving toward release. The goal is clear:

Make importing product data as easy and reliable as possible.

This includes:

  • Guiding users through import mapping in a simple way

  • Validating data during import

  • Enabling automated scheduled imports

Over time, imports can run in the background with minimal user involvement. This means fewer spreadsheets, fewer mistakes, and smoother onboarding of product data into the system.

5. Pricing module continues to evolve

The pricelist module will continue maturing into one of the core pillars of the platform. Our direction remains:

  • Centralize data

  • Reduce manual spreadsheets

  • Ensure consistency across systems

  • Support structured delivery and receiving of price lists effortlessly

This means cleaner and more efficient workflows and fewer errors, especially when price changes, campaigns, and market specific pricing need to stay in sync across multiple channels and partners.

6. Strong focus on Publisher to remove manual work

Another key development area for 2026 is Publisher.

The goal is to help users move away from manually building catalogs, brochures, product sheets, sales material, and POS content. Publisher will increasingly allow users to:

  • Generate marketing and sales material directly from product data

  • Keep materials always up to date

  • Reuse templates and layouts

  • Reduce repetitive design work

Product data becomes the single source of truth, and material production becomes faster, more consistent, and significantly less manual.

7. Continuous improvements across the entire system

Alongside the larger development themes, Pimmix will continue evolving through many small but meaningful improvements across all modules. This includes:

  • Smoother workflows

  • Reduced clicking and navigation

  • Clearer visual structure

  • More helpful messages and guidance

  • Better performance and stability

These refinements may feel subtle, but together they create a more enjoyable, efficient, and modern user experience. The goal is that Pimmix feels easier, lighter, and more intuitive every month.

“As automation and AI continue to evolve inside Pimmix, our core philosophy remains unchanged, technology should amplify people.

Our users always stay in control of workflows and automation simply removes repetitive work so people can focus on decisions, relationships, growth, and real business value.

Looking ahead, Pimmix will continue developing into a central hub for all product data, a flexible system that adapts to real needs, and a scalable platform powered by intelligent automation. Ultimately becoming a tool that reduces stress rather than adds to it.

For us, 2026 will be about smarter workflows, less friction, and meaningful automation that works quietly in the background, helping organisations do more with less effort.
