Pimmix launches version 2.2 - New ways to work smarter
Smarter tools, smoother workflows, and more control over your product data
The latest Pimmix update (v2.2) introduces new features and refinements that make managing, enriching, and exporting product data easier than ever. Highlights include enhanced pricing notifications, Golden Record improvements, a new GHS module for safety data, supplier data locking, and more flexible export options. This release is designed to deliver greater accuracy, efficiency, and reliability in daily operations.
Price management updates
Notifications
After importing a price list, the system automatically performs a match based on the configured fields. If these fields are not set, no match can be made.
Two new notifications have been added within the pricing module. You will now receive an alert when:
- No match algorithm is configured;
- No import structure is defined.
This way, you know exactly when you need to configure the fields or define the import structure yourself.
Import mapping screen
Several changes have been made within the import screen:
-
The price tier field is now optional and does not need to be filled in.
-
GTIN validation has been added, allowing the system to automatically populate the GTIN number.
-
The From and To fields have been validated. You can now select a date. If an invalid date is entered, the system will notify you.
-
Pieces has been replaced by Quantity.
-
Fields that you want to include in the export can now also be compared and viewed directly in the comparison screen.
-
Calculations in the comparison screen have been adjusted: the system always recalculates based on the ERP price, ensuring a fair comparison.
Golden record updates
Linking attributes
-
When you link an attribute, a notification now appears if the attributes differ — for example, if one attribute is multilingual and the other is not.
Automatic data processing
-
Data is now processed automatically in the background.
-
Previously, this required clicking the Generate button.
Golden record source label
-
When a Golden Record attribute is used, it is displayed with a gold-colored label.
-
Similar to the blue PIM labels and other source labels, there is now also a gold Golden Record label.
-
The source is displayed beneath this label.
-
To edit the attribute field, simply click on the label and modify the PIM value.
GHS-Module
The GHS Tab
-
A new GHS tab has been introduced, making it easier to manage product safety information directly in Pimmix.
-
Through this tab, a product can now be linked to essential GHS data, ensuring compliance and clarity in product communication.
What can be linked to a product?
- Pictograms – standardized hazard symbols that clearly communicate risks.
- Signal words – such as “Danger” or “Warning,” helping users immediately recognize the severity of a hazard.
- GHS phrases – specific hazard and precautionary statements that provide detailed guidance on safe use and handling.
Tip: On the right-hand side of the tab, you can also link other products to the same GHS values. This bulk-linking option saves time and ensures consistency across product ranges, since you don’t need to add the same GHS data to each product individually.
Locking datapool suppliers
New feature
Previously, if a company stopped participating in the datapool, often all related data disappeared from your PIM — creating gaps in product information and extra manual work to fill them.
With the new Lock Supplier feature, retailers can now keep valuable datapool data even if a supplier is no longer active.
-
Go to the Import settings and open the Enrichment tab.
-
Enable the option Keep datapool data enrichment.
This ensures that all product data previously enriched via the datapool remains available in your system, helping you maintain consistency and avoid disruptions in your assortment, product pages, or sales channels.
Conversion Hub updates
Excluding groups in export converisions
Until now, exports allowed you to select which product groups you wanted to send out of your PIM. With the latest update, you can also exclude specific groups from an export.
This small but powerful improvement means:
-
No more manual selection of every group one by one.
-
Easier handling of large assortments when only a few groups need to be left out.
-
Faster, more flexible exports to datapools, webshops, or other channels.
By simply excluding the groups you don’t want, you gain more control and save valuable time in the conversion process.
